Arsenal have warned Manchester City they won’t sell Hector Bellerin, according to reports.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is believed to be very keen on the defender and made enquiries about a possible move. The Spanish boss was left disappointed after Arsenal made it known that the defender is not for sale, according to Manchester Evening news via HITC Sport.
Arsene Wenger is not prepared to lose any of his best players this summer, instead, he is keen on strengthening his squad as he attempts to improve on last season’s second-place finish. Bellerin was a key part of the Gunners team last term, his impressive performances since he made his debut in 2014 has attracted a number of top clubs within and outside England but they have been left disappointed by Wenger’s stance.
The player himself is also happy to remain at the Emirates and have always stated his desire to remain part of the Arsenal family. The club is now prepared to offer him a new deal that will end the hopes of interested clubs.
