Arsenal target Julian Draxler is set to incur the wrath of his club Wolfsburg, according to reports. The forward is believed to be pushing for a move away from the German side with the club unwilling to let him leave. Arsenal and Everton are rumored to be interested in the forward and it appears speculations surrounding his future have turned his head. Last week, he publicly revealed he has informed his club of his desire to leave and that has not gone down well with the Bundesliga giants.
German newspaper Bild via Football Insider now claims the club is unhappy with the forward and has handed him a huge fine for his comments. The player would pay a fine of £85,000 for his outburst.
The player’s comments were the kind that gives encouragement to potential suitors and Wolfsburg are unhappy with that as they are not prepared to sell the 22 year old.
Juventus are also interested in the forward but it is Wenger who is reportedly leading the race to sign the German international.
The forward joined Wolfsburg last summer and scored eight goals in 31 appearances for the German side. He is undoubtedly one of the best talents in Germany and it is understandable why the club doesn’t want to sell him after one season.
