Arsenal are still working hard to sign Alexandre Lacazette, according to a report in the Sports Review.
The Gunners have been heavily linked with a move for the French striker but is finding it difficult to complete a deal for the forward. Lyon are reluctant to sell the striker and have already rejected a £29.5m bid.
It is believed that Wenger is ready to return with an improved offer for the striker and Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol has now confirmed the Gunners are still very much interested in the forward.
The reporter revealed via his twitter account that Arsenal are still in talks with the French club and are hoping to complete a deal before the end of the transfer window.

Wenger has made signing a striker his priority this summer and has been linked with a number of them. The French tactician wanted to sign Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy but the England international snubbed a move to the Emirates in favor of a new deal at the King Power stadium.
The club has now turned its attentions to Lacazette and Wenger is determined to complete a move for the 25 year old striker this summer. It is believed the boss is willing to pay £35m for Lacazette’s services.
