Arsene Wenger has placed signing a striker on hold according to Football Insider.
The French man had publicly revealed he is interested in signing a striker this summer and has been working on a deal to sign Olympic Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette but the French club has so far frustrated his efforts.
The French club have rejected a bid of £29.5m from Arsenal already and have warned it would take around £60m to sign the striker.
Italian Journalist Emanuele Giulianelli has now revealed the Gunners are not close to signing a striker for now. He also claimed the club could bring in a new forward in the final days of the transfer window.
