There is no doubt Arsenal fans including my self are happy with the last transfer update, claiming Arsenal has signed two new players with Wenger confirming a deal has been done.
According to reports, Shdkron Mustafi and Lucas Perez have completed Arsenal medicals and will be unveiled in 24 hours.
Wenger confirmed the deal has been done after Saturday’s 3-1 win over Watford. The Frenchman told Sky Sports: “We have bought two players in Mustafi and Lucas Perez. They’ve both had medicals but we need to complete the paperwork,” Wenger told Sky Sports.
“We have a good little break now and we can help them to join the squad. Lucas Perez is not in the Spanish national team so can join straight away but for Mustafi we have to wait until after the break because he goes with Germany.”
However, Wenger confirmed he won’t be making any further addition to his team but reports making the round suggest Arsenal are interested in signing Argentina forward Miguel Almiron and have already agreed personal term of contract.
The report further claims Arsenal have tabled a 11.1million pounds bid according to reports in Italy.
“I don’t think so, Wenger said, when asked if Arsenal will bring in more players. “First of all we have a very big squad and we’ve spent a lot of money as well. We had to work very hard to get these two signings done.”
“I expected it to last until Tuesday but fortunately it unlocked very quickly on Friday. We don’t have any plans for anyone else now.”
It seems it’s all media talk as Wenger has bluntly confirmed he won’t be making any more adition to the team.
