It seems Arsenal have completed a deal for Serge Gnabry with reports claiming the German international has joined Werder Bremen on a permanent transfer after refusing to sign a new contract.
The 21-year-old midfielder passed his medical at the Bundesliga and will be unveiled at 2.30pm with his new side.
Skysport German confirmed the deal has been done for the 21-year-old as his father told Stuttgarter Zeitung: “Yes, it’s like that.”
Speaking to radio station SWR, he added: “I would have preferred if had Serge come out on top at Arsenal. He’s still under contract until 2017, but has already left in his thoughts.”

“I want to keep Serge Gnabry, and to extend his contract,” Wenger said at a news conference on Friday. “Because I think we stood by him for a long time.”
