Premier League quartet Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal could go head to head in the race to sign Atletico Madrid striker Antoinne Greizmann next summer, according to reports.

The striker has developed into one of Europe’s best strikers in the last couple of seasons and he is set to spark a bidding war between four of Premier League big clubs.

The striker signed a new deal with Atletico in June but reports suggest he could be open to a move away from the club in the nearest future.

Arsenal were keen on Greizmann in the just concluded summer transfer window and it is expected that Wenger will return for his country man’s services next summer but Manchester United and Manchester city are keen too.

Reports claim Mourinho has already identified Greizmann as one of his targets next summer.

City are also going to explore the possibility of signing the striker as Guardiola tries to build a team that would challenge for the Champions League title in the next few years. While Chelsea who have been linked with the striker for sometime now will not watch their top target join a rival club.

The striker currently has a release clause of about £80m and interested clubs will have to activate the clause before they can sign him.

Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United all have the financial muscles to activate the player’s release clause and it could come down to the club prepared to offer the highest salary.

Arsenal currently run their wage bill on a strict budget and could struggle to match its rivals financial package.
