GoodBye Santi Cazorla, Sensational Midfielder To Complete Emirates Exit In Winter

Goonersden brings you news from top football news sites from the likes of ESPN, SkySport, Daily Mail, Daily Star and Metro… We also Analyse football, player, transfer and predict Arsenal starting line-up.

Italian giants Juventus are keen on signing Santi Cazorla on a free transfer, according to reports.

The midfielder’s contract at Arsenal expires at the end of the season but he is yet to be offered a new deal.

This has prompted speculations linking him with a move away from the Emirates but he recently revealed he is more than happy with us and is prepared to wait until the end of the season for a new deal.

It is unthinkable that the Spaniard will not be offered a new deal as he is a key player in our squad. His importance cannot be overstated and that was obvious last season when he suffered a serious injury which eventually led to our collapsed title challenge. Why we are yet to offer him a new deal is baffling but i would like to think he would be offered one in the later stages of the season.

However, other clubs are already plotting moves on how to snap up the midfielder. It is not surprising because you hardly see a player with his kind of quality available and when it happens, everyone would want to take advantage of the situation. That’s exactly what Juventus are doing.

According to Italian Publication Calcio Mercato via The Daily Cannon, Juventus are hoping to sign Carzola when his contract expires at the end of the season.

I’m sure Ivan Gazidis and co knows they have to offer the Spaniard a new deal in order to avoid fans Backlash. There is nothing as painful as losing your best players and at this point Cazorla is still one of our best and deserves to stay.

We are hoping once Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil’s contracts renewal are sorted, Cazorla will be next in line for a renewal.
