I’m Ready To Make The Switch To The Emirates Stadium- Star Tells Club

Goonersden brings you news from top football news sites from the likes of ESPN, SkySport, Daily Mail, Daily Star and Metro… We also Analyse football, player, transfer and predict Arsenal starting line-up.

Arsenal summer target Riechedly Bozoer is in talks over a move away from Ajax, according to his agent.

The young midfielder was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal in the last transfer window but nothing concrete happened as Ajax were not willing to sell and the player was not willing to move at that time.

Reports linking us with the player has since died down but it could be resurrected again after recent statements from his agent and brother Irchandly Bazoer.

According to the Metro, the player’s agent claims he has held talks with AC Milan and three other teams over the possibility of signing the midfielder in the future.

‘I have contact with four clubs and asked them to devise a plan for Bazoer,’ Irchandly told AD.

Former Arsenal midfielder Marc Overmars who is the director of football in Ajax has denied talks of the player leaving the club soon but the agent’s claims could mean either he is looking for a better deal for his client at Ajax or his client is looking for a move to one of Europe’s elite clubs.

Arsenal were one of the top clubs interested in the midfielder last summer, having watched him on several occasions last season and it wouldn’t be surprising if we are still interested in his services.

It remains to be seen if we are amongst the three clubs that Irchandly recently contacted, after our concrete interest in his services in the summer.

This definitely won’t be the last we’ll hear of this links because I expect the race to sign the midfielder to hot up in the coming months.

Barcelona and Chelsea were also linked in the last window and could join the race again.
