Goonersden brings you news from top football news sites from the likes of ESPN, SkySport, Daily Mail, Daily Star and Metro… We also Analyse football, player, transfer and predict Arsenal starting line-up.

Lucas Perez is set for a move out of Arsenal in the winter transfer window, according to reports.

Perez completed a £17m to the Emirates in the late stages of the last transfer window and barely three months, Arsenal are reportedly looking to ship him out.

Perez has played just 88 minutes of Premier League football for Arsenal since he joined us, although he is currently out with an ankle injury, he will likely find himself further down the pecking order when he returns to fitness.

And according to Calcio Mercato via the Daily Star, Wenger is willing to allow Perez leave the club on loan in the new year.

The report didn’t mention any potential destination but it’s likely to be a move outside England as they claim the striker has been unable to adapt to life in the Premier League.

This news will be surprising to many but realistically speaking, everything points to Wenger not being sure about Perez, which opens up the possibility of a winter move. The striker was expected to have a starring role on his arrival but he has been used more in the EFL cup games and has played less than 90 minutes of EPL football till date.

Several reports have emerged in recent weeks, suggesting that Wenger is keen on signing a striker in the winter transfer window and with the number of options we have upfront at the moment, we wouldn’t be looking at signing a striker unless there is a plan for one to leave and Perez is the likeliest to leave among our current strikers.
