FINALLY He Is Off To Arsenal- Club Inside Reveals Big News

Goonersden brings you news from top football news sites from the likes of ESPN, SkySport, Daily Mail, Daily Star and Metro… We also Analyse football, player, transfer and predict Arsenal starting line-up.

Arsenal are set to join Juventus in the race to sign Germany international Julian Draxler, according to reports.

Wenger is a big fan of Draxler and we reportedly tried to sign him in the last transfer window but his club were not willing to selling. The player wanted to leave Wolfsburg but his club blocked every bid and forced him to stay against his wish.

However, the Germans have changed their stand on the midfielder and the club’s director Klaus Allofs revealed earlier this week that they are now willing to consider selling the midfielder in the winter transfer window. It appears Wenger has been alerted by Allofs’ recent statements and will now renew his interest in the winger in January.

Juventus are believed to be the bfront runners to sign Draxler but the Sun now claim they wouldn’t find it easy.

The newspaper via The Daily Express claim we may join the race to sign the winger.

The reason for this speculation could be because we are long term admirers of the winger as we already have enough options in the attacking midfield places where the German plays.

However, it wouldn’t be surprising if Wenger makes a move his services in January because the tactician has been monitoring the German for over two years.

A summer move is more realistic, considering Draxler will cost a huge sum of money and big moves most times happen at the end of the season.

In the event that we are able to pull off the deal in January, he could give us an extra boost going into the final part of the season as we challenge for major titles.
