Arsene Wenger Personally Drops Massive Transfer News- Fans Are Pissed

Arsene Wenger has reiterated he doesn’t intend to spend in this month’s transfer window.

The boss made this claims after our 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace on New year day. Despite being nine points behind league leaders Chelsea who had won 13 games in a row at the time, Wenger felt we have enough quality to compete with the Blues.

As usual, Arsenal have been linked with a number of top players in recent weeks but the boss rubbished those reports by claiming he doesn’t see any reason to bring in new players.

Wenger is expecting a number of first team players back this month and he believes the returning players will act as new signings for the team.

Per Mertesacker and Danny Welbeck who hasn’t featured at all this season has just returned to training and Santi Cazorla is also on the road of recovery.

“Nothing planned at the moment,” he said, when asked about the possibility of signing players this winter.

“You look at the players we missed today – no Cazorla and Ozil, we hope to get them back.

“Welbeck is coming back – we have a big squad.”

While Wenger is right that we have a big squad and that the returning players will strengthen us a bit, he could be forced to act if we sell both Debuchy and Chamberlain.

Both full backs are expected to leave the Emirates this month which will leave Bellerin as our only recognized right back. I don’t think Wenger will be want to take the risk of having just one fit right back for the rest of the season.
