According to German publication, Borrussia Dortmund are not interested in signing Arsenal midfielder Gideon Zelalem.
A couple of days ago, it was reported that BVB are hoping to take Zelalem on loan until the end of the season but Bild reckons that is not true.
The newspaper admitted that the Arsenal man is attracting interest from a host of Bundesliga sides but not BVB.
They reckon the midfielder has just a 10% chance of moving to the Bundesliga this month as Wenger would prefer to keep him at the Emirates until the end of the season.
Zelalem, a United States youth international was born in Germany before his father migrated to the US with him at a young age so Bundesliga clubs are hoping to bring him back to his country of birth.
The youngster has been unable to get first team opportunities this season due to the high competition for centre midfield places at the Emirates but sending him out on loan at this time will weaken us in that position.
Santi Cazorla and Francis Coquelin are currently out injured, Mohammed Elneny has gone to the AFCON with Egypt.
With the number of players we have missing in that position, Zelalem can provide cover for the team to some extent, so it wouldn’t be the wisest decision to let him leave.
