Goonersden brings you news from top football news sites from the likes of ESPN, SkySport, Daily Mail, Daily Star and Metro… We also Analyse football, player, transfer and predict Arsenal starting line-up.

Arsenal’s bid for Rick Karsdorp has been rejected by Feyenoord, according to reports.

There have been numerous reports about the futures of Arsenal right backs Carl Jenkinson and Mathieu Debuchy. Wenger is reportedly open to selling both players this winter transfer window which could leave Hector Bellerin as our only fit right back.

It appears Wenger is already working on signing a cover for the Spaniard as he prepares for Jenkinson’s and Debuchy’s exit.

According to reports making the round, Feyenoord have rejected a bid from Arsenal for Karsdorp.

It is believed Wenger will return with an improved offer before the transfer window closes but I am not really sure what to make of this report because it was just few weeks ago that Wenger denied any interest in the Dutch international.

Wenger admitted that the defender is a good player but said he isn’t interested in signing the player.

It could be that Arsenal are keeping tabs on the young man Incase we need to sign a right back. Wenger claims he knows the player very well and there’s every possibility that we would swoop for his services if we lose both Jenkinson and Debuchy this month.

The rejected bid is believed to be around £5.53m, so any improved bid will be closer to the £10m mark.

I think the fee to sign Karsdorp could be gotten from the permanent sale of both Jenkinson and Debuchy. so I’ll urge us to sign him if the opportunity arises. Keeping Bellerin as our only recognized right back will be dangerous
