Arsenal remain interested in Porto pair Danilo Pereira and Andre Silva, according to reports.
Arsene Wenger seems very interested in the Portuguese duo and he has been keeping tabs on them for quite some time to the extent that some reports suggested that a January move was on the cards.
Although a move to the Emirates didn’t happen in January, it appears Wenger is still keeping an eye on both players in view to making a move in the future.
According to Portuguese newspaper A Bola via Gunnersphere, Arsenal chief scout Luis Boa Morte was present at Porto’s game against Estoril last weekend to watch Silva and Danilo.
At the beginning of the January transfer window, it was claimed that Wenger wanted to improve his forward line and that Silva was one of his top targets but it happened there was no truth in that.
Danilo was also linked with a January move to the Emirates, a report which Wenger quickly denied but the continuous scouting of the duo suggests Arsenal are actually interested in them.
They are very talented players with the potential of becoming one of the best in their positions, perhaps Wenger is keeping tabs on them ahead of a potential summer move.
