Fans GO Mad As Arsenal Agrees To Sell Alexis Sanchez In Summer

Goonersden brings you news from top football news sites from the likes of ESPN, SkySport, Daily Mail, Daily Star and Metro… We also Analyse football, player, transfer and predict Arsenal starting line-up.

According to a report in the Metro, Arsenal are prepared to sell Alexis Sanchez this summer if he doesn’t sign a contract extension and an interested club comes up with a suitable offer.

Sanchez’s future is currently up in the air following his refusal to sign a contract extension with us. His contract expires at the end of next season and Arsenal have been working towards extending his contract but negotiations haven’t progressed as expected.

A host of top clubs are keeping tabs on the forward in view to making a move in the summer transfer window.

Although Arsenal are reluctant to let it’s star man leave, the club knows we could lose the forward for free next year if he doesn’t sign a new deal. In a bid to avoid this, Arsenal have placed a £43m price tag on the forward.

The report cites Italian newspaper Corriere Dello Sport as it source, claiming Serie A giants Inter Milan and Juventus have been told they could sign the striker for that fee.

That may look a decent deal considering Sanchez is in the final year of his contract but Gooners will radar keep the forward than lose him.

Sanchez has been a crucial player for us since he joined in 2014 and will be difficult to replace if allowed to leave. He has been involved in more goals and assist (25) than any player in the league this season.

Talks to extend his contract will continue as the season progress and hopefully we will show we are big enough to keep hold of our star player.
