Arsenal To SHOCK Manchester City As Target Set To Agree Terms With Arsenal

Arsenal scouts were present at Monaco’s game against Manchester City last week to watch Tiemoue Bakayoko, according to reports.

The 22 year old midfielder has been one of his club’s best players this term and his performances have caught the attention of some Premier League giants who are now scrambling for his signature.

According to Get French Football News via The Sun, Arsenal and Manchester United sent representatives to watch the midfielder in action last week.

Arsenal are keen on signing a centre midfielder this summer and have set its sight on Bakayoko.

Despite his contract at Monaco expiring in 2019, the French club have placed a staggering £52m price tag on him to deter interested clubs.

Potential suitors have been boosted by the fact that he’s turned them down a contract extension from Monaco, insisting he wants to explore other options this summer.

Arsenal need a player like Bakayoko. The midfielder’s blend of physicality and finesse will make him a great asset to our squad but we would be ready to dig deep to sign the midfielder. London rivals Chelsea are reportedly leading the race to sign the midfielder and it will take a huge effort from us to beat them to the midfielder’s signature.

 Obviously we do need an upgrade Francis Coquelin who has flattered to deceive this season and Bakayoko will definitely come in as one. Whether we’ll be able to sign him amid the numerous interest in his services remains to be seen.
