Arsenal have registered their interest in Crystal Palace Winger Wilfred Zaha, according to reports.
Zaha has been Palace best player this season, scoring six goals and providing seven assists in 26 Premier League game this term.
His fine form has caught the attention of Premier League heavyweights Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur as well as Arsenal.
Spurs are long term admirers of the forward and even failed with a £15m bid last summer. According to The Guardian via The Metro, they still hold a strong interest in the winger, having watched him perform well consistently this season.
However, the report claims they could face competition from Chelsa and Arsenal.
Wenger is reportedly on the lookout for a wide forward and he is also keen on bolstering our homegrown quota and Zaha does fit that bill.
The Ivory Coast international does have the potential to play at a big club like Arsenal but whether he has the ability to deliver regularly on that level is another question.
He joined Manchester United in 2012 but was unable to make a mark at Old Trafford before returning to Palace. No doubt he has developed as a player in the last couple of years but I still think a move to a big club, be it Arsenal or somewhere else, this summer would come too soon for the winger again.
