Reports in Turkey seriously linking Arsenal’s Lucas Perez with a move to Fenerbahce and Galatasaray.
Perez who joined Arsenal last summer has only played 265 minutes of football since completing his £17m move in August.
He currently sits behind Alexis Sanchez, Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck in Wenger’s pecking order and it appears he is fed up with his situation.
According to a report in Turkishfootball.com, football agent Bayram Tutumlu has offered the striker to Galatasaray.
The source claims the agent has been mandated to find a new club for the Spaniard in Turkey and he has offered Gala the chance to sign the forward.
Fenerbahce are also watching the striker with keen interest and could also make a move of theirs when the summer transfer window opens.
Perez joined Arsenal amidst huge farfare last year and many Gooners must be unhappy with the way the striker’s career has unfolded at the Emirates. It is not like he has done badly but it’s a case of not being given enough chance. Despite boasting a good goal-per-game ratio, Perez was never given a consistent run of games in the team. I would have loved us to keep him but there is no reasonable chance that he will play next season if he stays.
At 28, the striker ought to be playing regularly and I think it would be better if he moves to a club where he will get chances. A move to Turkey could do him a whole lot of good.
