Reports broke out yesterday from France claiming Lyon have agreed a £52m deal with Arsenal for Alexandre Lacazette this summer.

He revealed Arsenal should sign Pierre Emerick Aubameyang ahead of Lyon striker Lacazette.

Lacazette has scored 100 goals in 203 appearances in Ligue 1 since breaking into the Lyon team in 2010.

The former Chelsea defender Burley suggested that Aubameyang would be a better option.
“I would have him [Lacazette] behind Aubameyang and quite a few others,” Burley said. “He has had a good few seasons at Lyon.”
