Kaylen Hinds has joined up with Arsenal’s former academy head Andries Jonker at Wolfsburg in a permanent transfer.
The deal was officially announced today by the Bundesliga club for the star attacker who has represented England at under-16, U17 and U18 levels.
The 19-year-old forward has signed a three-year deal at the Bundesliga side in a deal believed to be worth around £2 million.
Wolfsburg did not disclose a fee, but the transfer is reported to have cost in the region of £2 million.
Last season Hinds had a spell on loan with League Two Stevenage and failed to score in 12 appearances.
Another star of Arsenal’s youth set-up, Chris Willock, left the club to join Benfica on a five-year deal last week.
A statement on the official Wolfsburg website said he had “been taken on as a possible prospect for the professional team and will participate in training activities with the side.”
