Lucas Perez is likely to leave the summer having fallen fail to break into Arsene Wenger’s starting XI since his arrival from Deportivo La Coruna.
Turkish giants Fenerbahce are set for showdown talks with the entourage of out-of-favour Arsenal star Perez.
The agent of Lucas Perez has revealed Arsenal have set their asking price for the striker.
The former Deportivo La Coruna star is eager to leave the Emirates after a disappointing year in England.
Confirming Fenerbahce’s interest, agent Rodrigo Fernández Lovelle told AS: “The truth is that the Turkish club has been interested in Lucas Pérez for two months.
“It does not seem very easy because Arsenal does not want to give him up on loan. Many European clubs are interested in Lucas, but Arsenal wants to offset some of the money paid to Deportivo Coruña last summer. Arsenal paid €21 million for Lucas.
“They’ll accept a figure of around €12 million for his sale.”
according to Turkish-Football, Fenerbahce are ready to hold talks with the player’s representatives in the hope of securing a season-long loan deal for the forward ahead of next season.
Perez still has three years left on his current contract at the Emirates, but may well choose to leave in order to secure regular first-team football.
