Arsenal are set to sign Manchester City’s young sensation Jaydon Sancho as the youngster is ready to snub Tottenham for the Gunners.

Jadon Sancho, a promising 17-year-old striker of Manchester City academy has rejected offers from City about a professional contract and wants to join Arsenal, according to reports. He was offered a £30,000 wage per week by City along with a three-year deal but Guardiola may loose the promising forward.

And astonishingly, Sancho’s hero is current Arsenal man Alexis Sanchez, who ironically wants to join City from the North London club this season.

According to The Sun, an Etihad source fears that City are worried as Arsenal are in the driving seat to sign him and it has been difficult for the North West club to convince him signing his professional deal.

“His family think he might get a quicker path to first-team action at either Arsenal or Spurs. He is a top player, one of, if not the best in the youth system.”

But it is to be believed that young Sancho has a certain soft spot for Arsenal and that is why he considers Emirates as his next destination, and in the way he may snub Arsenal’s rivals Tottenham.

Also Sancho might find it perfect under the guidance of Arsene Wenger to blossom as a football player and given Arsenal’s history regarding nurturing young talents and giving them big stage opportunity it may well be his apt destination.

His chances at City seems to be very limited and maybe that is why their academy graduate wants to persuade his trail with the London club.He also is not a part of the City’s pre season squad at the United States.

Sancho was outstanding in the recent U17 European Championship as he helped England to reach the finals.
