There is so much uncertainty over the future of some of Arsenal players and this portends danger to the stability of the Club.

While Arsene Wenger has made just two signings this summer, Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, Oxlade Chamberlain have stalled over new contracts, with the Gunners at risk to losing them next summer for free. To add to Arsene Wenger’s burden, Lucas Perez has revealed that he wants out of the Club but Wenger has dismissed a move for the player this summer.

Perez has been linked with a return to his former Club Diportivo Lacuruna but the Gunners have refused offers for the left footer. Deportivo had seen a paltry bid of £8million rebuffed but they are understood to be prepared to offer more for the striker.

However, Wenger was asked if Perez will feature in the upcoming season and his response was in the affirmative, according to the Club’s official website:

on what the latest is on Lucas Perez…
He is injured at the moment.

on whether Lucas is likely to feature during the season…
Yes.

on Lucas’ agent saying his shirt number was given away without consultation…
Well look, we sort that out internally

Perez is displeased over his treatment at the Club. He was promised more playing time at the Emirates but Wenger has refused to show faith in the player. His squad no. was even collected and handed to new boy Alexandre Lacazette without informing him.

He was not part of Arsenal’s pre-season games and his best bet at playing regularly is away from the Club.
