German international Mesut Ozil has been ruled injured and has missed Arsenal last two games in the Premier League and Europa League.
The midfielder replaced Alexis Sanchez in the 83rd minute after missing games against Colonge, Chelsea and Doncaster with a knee injury.
Now Germany manager Joachim Low has now revealed he’ll be given the next fortnight off to put his feet up and make a full recovery.
“I expect Mesut Ozil and Sami Khedira to recover during this break for international matches,” he said.
“That is more important for them now.
“What will be decisive for us is that the players are fully fit next year (at the World Cup).”
When quizzed after Monday’s win over the Baggies why Ozil didn’t start, Arsene Wenger said: “He just came back from a knee problem.
“He hasn’t practiced a lot in the last two weeks.
“I didn’t know really how much he has lost on the fitness front.”
Germany are top of their qualifying group having won eight out of eight games.
They need just one point from their last two matches against Northern Ireland and Azerbaijan to secure a spot in next year’s tournament in Russia.
