The Monaco defender is currently on a season-long loan deal at Championship side, but his performances for this club have allegedly attracted interest from clubs in the top flight.
Manchester United, Arsenal and Everton all are three of the teams who have previously been mentioned, and according to the Express & Star, Wolves have first option to sign the player, as per the terms of their agreement with Monaco.
He has reportedly been on the Gunners’ radar since being part of the Portugal Under-17 squad that won the European Championships last year. The left-back has since progressed to Portugal’s Under-19 side.
Arsenal are reportedly looking for a probable replacement for Nacho Monreal next summer months and have made a decision that Vinagre could be a very well-priced option.
Vinagre has already nine starts in all competitions for Wolves, with his most recent showing coming against the Premier League leader Manchester City in the EFL Cup as the West Midlands outfit held the Pep Guardiola’s side to a goalless draw before losing on penalties.
