Here is a quick update on injured Arsenal star ahead of tomorrow’s clash against League leaders Manchester City in the Premier League.
Arsenal have been relatively lucky with injuries so far this campaign but there are still some fitness issues that continue to haunt Arsene Wenger’s team selections.
Santi Cazorla is the most notable long-term absentee but the likes of Shkodran Mustafi and Danny Welbeck have been forced to watch from the sidelines too recently, while Sead Kolasinac limped off last weekend against Swansea.
Injury type: Groin problem.
Out since: Watford (A), October 14.
Injury type: Hip problem.
Out since: The second half of the 2-1 win against Swansea on October 28.
Expected return date: Manchester City (A), on November 5.
What Wenger said: “Kolasinac will have a test at the end of the week. He is not ruled out yet for Sunday. It’s not as bad as we feared at the start.”

Expected return date: Tottenham Hotspur (h) on November 18.
What Wenger said: “Welbeck has a groin problem, I think it will be two to three weeks before he is back. He will not be back before the international break.”
