These are trying times for Arsenal and Arsene Wenger and the very large fanbase of the London Club. The team that is built by Arsene Wenger is on the verge of collapse as two of the biggest players in the club have shown that they do not want to continue lacing their boots for the club.

There is so much talk about Alexis Sanchez’s commitment to Arsenal at the moment and former Arsenal star Tony Adams has laid bare his mind over the player’s situation. According to report, Tony Adam reckons that the player should leave Arsenal in furtherance of his career.

Sanchez’ will be out of contract with Arsenal next summer and he has refused to sign a new deal with club for obvious reasons. The Chilean reckons that he wants to play and win the Champions League and it appears that he may not be able to achieve that feat with the Gunners.

He was heavily linked with a move to Manchester City in the summer but Arsenal blocked his move. He could walk away to the Etihad on free transfer next summer if he is not sold in January.

“We used to have a philosophy at Arsenal: if you don’t want to be at the club then bye-bye, we shake your hand get people that do, whatever money,” he said.

“I’ve always loved those principles, so if he doesn’t want to be here then try and get the most you can for him and get him on and get someone that does want to play for the club.” Adams said while asking Arsenal fans and the club to move on.

Sanchez has been committed to Arsenal and no one should blame him for his personal ambition.

Arsene Wenger has failed the club and the results are not looking like they will be any better soon. After ending last season outside top four, the Gunners have already lost four games in the league in 11.

Wenger must be held responsible for the on-pitch failings of the club because he signs the players and trains them.
