According to reports from the Daily Mail, Arsenal are reportedly ready to do business for Francis Coquelin this January transfer window.
The Frenchman is no longer a regular starter at Arsenal and has fallen further behind in the pecking order following Jack Wilshere’s revival.
Coquelin has been on the books at the Emirates Stadium for almost a decade having joined the clubs youth academy in 2008 and he’s gone on to make 160 appearances for the first team in all competitions.
However, the 26-year-old has struggled for regular game-time in Arsene Wenger’s side since the arrival of Granit Xhaka and it seems he’s now eyeing a move in search of first team football.
Reports from the Mirror claim Arsenal are ready to cash-in this month if an offer in the region of £10m is put on the table and West Ham have emerged as front-runners for Coquelin’s signature.
David Moyes is seemingly on the look out for a central midfielder and the newspaper says the Hammers boss is now eyeing Coquelin after failing to land Joe Allen or Jonjo Shelvey.
