Krystian Bielik has suffered another injury blow as he continues to wait to make his Walsall debut.
The Arsenal youngster joined the Saddlers on loan in January but has yet to feature for the League 1 club due to injury.
When he joined he was still working his way back to fitness having dislocated his shoulder earlier in the season with the Gunners.
Walsall were hopeful he would be able to link up with the squad imminently, but he has now picked up a knee problem and will be out for another few weeks.
“Krystian has had a setback in his rehab,” Walsall boss Jon Whitney told the Express and Star.
“Unfortunately he has tweaked his knee during late-stage rehab which has delayed the start of his loan spell with us.
“Krystian is due at the club in the next 10 days to meet with the squad and take part in some group sessions, and we look forward to Krystian joining the group in the next couple of weeks.”
