David Ospina has said that he could leave Arsenal due to the shortage of time.
The Colombia international has been at the Emirates Stadium since the summer of 2014 but has only enjoyed a brief spell as the club’s first choice in between the sticks as he replaced Wojciech Szczesny during the second half of his debut season in English football.
Petr Cech’s arrival from London rivals Chelsea 12 months later relegated Ospina back to the role of substitute and he mostly appeared in the domestic cups.
With his contract set to expire at the end of next season, Ospina has hinted that he could seek an early exit from north London.
Colombian stated that he is open to every possibility, but also needs playing time in order to prove his worth. He respects Cech goalkeeper but it’s painful for South American to be sidelined on major competitions. And he does not plan to be on the bench:
“Today I live day by day, I don’t like to say anything about the future but i will make the most of every each training session and every moment at Arsenal.
