After our win against AC Milan on Thursday night at the Emirate Stadium, fans were curious with the extent of Laurent Koscielny injury which saw the Frenchman limped off after just 11 minutes and was replaced by Calum Chambers.
It looked like he’d suffered a serious injury which might keep him out for a while.
However, Arsene Wenger moved quickly to dispel the rumours of a long-term injury for Koscielny, saying that he just had some cramp in his back.
He said on Arsenal.com:
“He got a kick on his back. We don’t think it’s bad but he cramped up and he couldn’t go on…”
Koscielny has been battling against ankle problems all season and looks to be playing through the pain barrier most games, so this latest scare was a definite concern.
