Hoffenheim’s midfield playmaker Kerem Demirbay has been heavily rumoured with a summer exit from the German outfit.
And Turkish outfit Besiktas have reportedly shown signs about signing the midfield prospect in a bid to replace Brazilian attacker Anderson Talisca after the Brazil international made a loan swap to the Chinese league this summer.
According to sports outlet Fanatik, Besiktas are desperate about filling up his role and they have handpicked Kerem Demirbay as his sole replacement.
Since Demirbay is close to a summer exit from Hoffenheim, his representative Yilmaz Sanli has said his client will be open to negotiations from interested suitors this summer.
However, Besiktas will need to have enough financial strength to ward off other interested suitors especially Arsenal.
The North London club is believed to be eyeing the midfielder and have kept their tabs on him for a while.
According to English outlet Standard, Arsenal are ready to pay £20 million for the midfield sensation in a move to lure him to their camp.
Demirbay is contracted at the Bundesliga outfit until 2021, after recently putting pen-on-paper, striking an extra four-year with the club.
Liverpool are also believed to be in the chase for his services after a tallied six assists and two goals in 27 appearances last term for Hoffenheim.
