Goonersden brings you news from top football news sites from the likes of ESPN, SkySport, Daily Mail, Daily Star and Metro… We also Analyse football, player, transfer and predict Arsenal starting line-up.

Arsenal new boss Unai Emery has begun a revolution for the Premier league club with the calibre of players he’s signed thus far, but more deals are expected to be completed before the close of the window.

The Gunners confirmed the signing for Bernd Leno from Bayern Leverkusen on Tuesday but he became the second summer signing of the club after Stephan Lichtsteiner. Arsenal are not resting on their onus to bolster their squad as Sampdoria confirmed that we have also sealed a deal for Lucas Torreira.

The signing of Lucas Torreira signaled the end of the spell of Jack Wilshere but the imminent arrival of the Uruguay international is bound to change the outlook of Emery’s squad. We take a look at how Arsenal will line-up with the all but confirmed players.

Bernd Leno, who looks like Bayern Munich goalkeeper Neuer, will take the place of Petr Cech as first choice for Arsenal. Either of Petr Cech or David Ospina are expected to exit the Emirates.

Defense

Although Arsenal are yet to confirm the signing of Sokratis, he is expected to join up with us next month. Hector Bellerin will certainly slug it out with Stephan Lictsteiner for the right back position, and either of them will be flanked by Nacho Monreal. The Centre-backs will be Sokratis and Mustafi since Koscielny will not be back until next year.

Midfield

Torreira will be our midfield marksman sitting in front of the defense line – he will allow Xhaka to play his best role which is more advanced. We will have either of Ozil or Ramsey play as the creative hub of the team.

Attack

Depending on the formation, Aubameyang is expected to start up front, with Mkhitaryan on his left and either of Welbeck or Iwobi as the right winger.
