In An Interview today Arsenal Boss Arsene Wenger told the press ahead of their home game match against Norwich City on Saturday. Although the interview was because of England Manager Roy Hodgson for a joke he made at the half-time world cup qualifier fixture against Poland on Tuesday.
Arsene Wenger expressed his sympathy for the England Coach.
“First of all, I don’t really know what happened,” he said.
“Secondly we can go sometimes a bit overboard at half-time, it is an emotional situation, there is a lot of desire and effort in there, but basically all [that is said] has to remain in the dressing room – it is an old phrase which you know well in England.
“Unfortunately these times have gone, so you have to be very careful today about what you say, wherever you are. To be in the middle of controversy, yes, it is part of [being a manager] but I don’t really know what happened”.
The Arsenal boss further revealed that Ozil and Sagna have both passed the fitness test and will be available for tomorrow’s match. Am sure this will come as a huge relief for the Gunners, who are expecting to witness Mesut Ozil’s partnership with Santi Cazorla for the first time this season.
