Aaron Ramsey Could Miss Out Sunday’s North London Derby – Reports

Reports according to the Guardian are suggesting that Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey could seat out the highly anticipated North London Derby on Sunday due to match fitness.

The Wales international, 23, has been one of the stand-out performers in the Premier League this season and played a key part in helping the Gunners into a position to challenge for their first league crown since 2004 but was cut off half way into the season due to a thigh injury he picked up at West Ham.

In quotes carried by the club’s official Twitter feed earlier this year, Wenger said: “Aaron Ramsey will be out for four to six weeks. I count six weeks.

Although Ramsey returned to full training last week and was expected to make a return against Tottenham this Sunday but the Welshman who was one of the star performers for the Gunners in the first half of the season has not played since Boxing Day, when he damaged his thigh at West Ham.

it is clear that Arsenal would go into the Derby without defender Kieran Gibbs and club record signing Mesut Ozil as the midfielder picked up a hamstring injury against Bayern Munich in Tuesday night’s UEFA Champions League last-16 tie and was substituted at half time with Wenger describing his case as quite serious and also that he could be out for a few weeks.
with Arsenal up against Tottenham, Chelsea, Swansea City, Manchester City and Everton next in the Premiere league with Ozil being a major doubt in these series of fixture, the Gunners would be looking in the direction of Ramsey to help bolster the team to victory.
Also New January loan signing, Kim Kallstrom, who has not yet featured for the club with a back injury also comes in contention for his Arsenal debut.
