Arsenal and Czech Republic international midfield maestro Tomas Rosicky recently expressed his delight at Arsenal saying he is happy playing with the club.
Rosicky told sky sport that he his optimistic about Arsenal winning a trophy this season. After an impressive game against Totteheham Hotspur last weekend, with the 33-year-old scoring the winning goal to give the gunners a fighting chance against League leaders Chelsea as Arsenal continue to push for Silverwares this season.
speaking in an interview, Rosicky told skysport:
“I would love to win a trophy with Arsenal,”
“This is why I came here and I still believe I can do it here. That’s why I am still here. “Our win at Spurs may have knocked their challenge for fourth place, but I don’t think like that. My goal is to win the league. I am not looking for a top-four finish – my goal is to win the league.
“I am staying here, I love this club and that was always my goal. It still is and I will give absolutely everything I can to achieve my dreams.”
Also when asked about Arsene Wenger’s 1,000th game next weekend against Chelsea, Rosicky said:
“It is absolutely unique,” said Rosicky. “I don’t think that anyone will repeat something like that again. He is a legend for this club.”
I believe Arsenal has over the years made Rosicky a better player, looking back when he played for Borussia Dortmund.
