Following last Sundays Derby win at the white hart Lane, Arsenal’s first team goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has come out Publicly, proclaiming his love for Arsenal and revealing his readiness to fight on being the club’s first team choice for as long as his stays at the club despite plans by the Arsenal board to bring in Experienced want-away Madrid and Spain International keeper Iker Casillas.
The 23-year-old stopper has revealed his love for the club and says if Arsenal offered to keep him at the Emirates for his career he’d sign the deal in a heartbeat.(Daily star)
Szczesny said: “If they give me a contract to the end of my career, I’d sign it without any hesitation.
“I feel attached to the club and the coach who has given me a chance.
“There are not many who would do that but I must have been good. I see the future here.”
The Gunners are interested in making a sensational move for out-of-favour Real Madrid keeper Iker Casillas, but even that hasn’t put Poland’s No.1 off.
Szczesny said: “I’ll play at Arsenal as long as am wanted here. I am not afraid to fight for number one with anyone: Fabianski or Casillas.
“I hope I won’t make the boss think, ‘Wojciech’s not No.1. It’s all in my hands. I am in the best form of my life.”
Szczesny who stole the headlines of various social media outlet recentlty following the selfie picture which he took and posted on several popular social media outlets, has had a brilliant season so far with the gunners and has now come out again pledging his alligence with the club.
In my own opinion, i find it hard to believe that out-of-favour Madrid keeper Casillas would stand a chance against this young lad as the 23-year-old Polish is not only in the best form of his life but also has alot of time on his side to develop more and more unlike 33 year-old Casillas.
