Loic Remy is keen to join Arsenal in the summer, a source close to the player has told the Sunday People.
The France striker, on loan at Newcastle from Championship club Queens Park Rangers, has also attracted interest from Tottenham Hotspur but Remy will snub a move to White Hart Lane in favour of the red half of north London in an attempt to emulate one of his idols (The Metro).
It appears if Arsenal want to buy Loic Remy this summer, then the striker will jump at the chance of moving to the Emirates Stadium.
“If Arsenal want him that’s where he will go,” the source told the newspaper. “Where else would a big fan of Thierry Henry want to go?”
QPR want £15 million for Remy, who is eager to sort his future before jetting off to Brazil with France’s World Cup squad.
The 27-year-old French striker has scored 13 goals in 23 games so far this season. With Wenger over the years being an avid admirer of the talented midfielder but it is quite unsure whether Remy is in Wenger’s plan for the future.
