The young Argentine star has once again stared up the interests of major clubs with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Roma all closely watching the 20-year-old with an intent on swooping him up in the summer.
A trio of Premier League sides will face an uphill battle to sign Argentine winger Juan Manuel Iturbe after reports emerge that Real Madrid have joined the race.
The media have dubbed Iturbe as the “new Lionel Messi”, because of their many comparisons With Iturbe being an Argentine, quick on the ball, a goal-scorer and his diminutive stature being 1.69m tall, all of which are Messi’s traits.
The Argentine forward currently at Hellas Verona, on loan from FC Porto has been a shining light in Serie A this season with the Italian side desperate to land him on a permanent deal from Porto in the summer but are set to face stiff competition from other top European giants.
According to talkSPORT, Porto are willing to let the talented youngster leave if they receive in the region of £12.5million.
