Arsene Wenger is set to thrust Aaron Ramsey straight back into Arsenal’s FA Cup campaign.
The 23-year-old has been one of the stand-out performers in the Premier League this season and played a key part in helping the Gunners into a position to challenge for their first league crown since 2004 but was cut off half way into the season due to a thigh injury he picked up at West Ham on Boxing Day.
Ramsey came on as a second-half substitute in Sunday’s loss at Everton after nearly four months out with a thigh injury.
Gunner boss, Wenger earlier this morning in a press conference at London Colney revealed that the goal-scoring Welsh midfielder will make the starting XI against FA Cup holders Wigan in Saturday’s semi-final at Wembley.
The in-form midfielder upon his injury has scored twelve goals and made seven assists this season before a thigh injury forced him on to the treatment table. Although he is back but things have since changed as there are now intense pressure for the talented 23-year-old to deliver such as that which the FA cup semi-final clash against Wigan brings.
Will Ramsey lead Arsenal to victory against Wigan On Saturday? will he continue his impressive run of form from where he left it off on boxing day? will the Gunners go all the way to the finals of the competition to clinch the cup?
The FA cup semi-final clash against Wigan on Saturday at Wembley will surely be a ground to provide an answer to these questions.
