Arsenal take on Championship side Wigan at Wembley this Saturday for the FA cup semi-final clash and Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has in a press confrence revealed the team news ahead of the match with a bit of bad news in the mix.
It seems the gunners are going to face Wigan on Saturday without Kieran Gibbs, Tomas Rosicky and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as the boss revealed that they are all major doubts for the game against Wigan this weekend while defender Laurent Koscielny is definitely still out.
Here’s what Arsene told reporters this morning at London Colney…
“We have a lot of uncertainties. Gibbs, Rosicky and Oxlade-Chamberlain are all doubts
“Aaron Ramsey is ready to start against Wigan. Mesut Ozil could be back next Saturday, Koscielny could be back for Tuesday”
“We want to win the semi-final and it’s important to focus on that. We respect Wigan highly”
“I’m expecting everyone to contribute because we have a lot of experience. We have played great games in the FA Cup”
“Fabianski will start in goal [against Wigan]. It’s a decision that has been made for a long time”
“We are still in a position where we can have a good season and that’s what we’re focusing on”
“In this competition we have produced top quality performances and we want to continue that”
That’s all from the boss at London Colney.
