Arsenal v Bolton Wanderers - Premier LeagueIt’s claimed that Ligue 1 duo Monaco and PSG are ready to offer him big money to quit the Emirates Stadium this summer, while Bayern Munich could also make a bid.

Arsenal key defender, Laurent Koscielny has become a target of various money bags in Europe with the likes of PSG, Monaco and Bayern Munich all willing to land the 28-year-old. Despite the player being in talks with Arsenal.

Laurent Koscielny has been one of Wenger and Arsenal’s best and most improved players in the last 12 months. His pairing with favourite partner Per Mertesacker has become one of Premier league’s most formidable force at the back this season and now the Gunners are facing a battle to hang on to the defender.

The 6ft 1in player, who has been in contact talks with the club recently, has emerged as a key transfer target for PSG, Monaco and Bayern Munich.

Arsene Wenger has made it clear that he sees Koscielny as part of Arsenal’s future, but the Telegraph reports that clubs are trying to lure him away.

Arsenal have in the past watched several stars exit the Emirates for various reasons and this has gone a long way in affecting our squad build-up every season with key players leaving for either improved contract offers or for the pursuit of trophies with other clubs.

Although Arsenal have struggled to agree terms with Koscielny over a contract extension, however they could now up their wage offer to about £90,000-a-week in a bid to convince him to stay.

There is more worries for Arsenal as he is not the only big name defender who may leave north London at the end of the season, with fellow Countryman Bacary Sagna out of contract and yet to agree new terms and Belgian International and Arsenal team captan Thomas Vermaelen also said to want a move away from the North London club in pursuit of first team action, after falling out of the pecking order to a Mertesacker-Koscielny partnership in the Arsenal starting line up.
