Arsenal take on 13th placed Hull City on Sunday at the KC stadium in an early kick-off.
The match is regarded by many as a pre-FA Cup final rehearsal between both sides following their inevitable meeting on the 17th of May at the Wembley stadium for the FA Cup final showdown.
Speaking at his press conference on Thursday, Arsène Wenger revealed the latest fitness updates ahead of Sunday’s Premier League game against Hull City.
On the team news…
“I think Gibbs will be out for the weekend. But Monreal is possibly available and Ozil could be available to travel as well. I will see about that on Friday and Saturday”.
On Ozil’s timely return…
“It’s good to have him back because we had so many offensive players out. He gives you always opportunities to score and I have to test him physically tomorrow and Saturday to see if he can travel”.
On any other team news…
“We have Flamini available as well because he was suspended”.
Hull City have only won 2 of their last 6 premier league games being at par with Arsenal who equally have just won 2 of their last 6 premier league games.
Although Arsenal will go into the match at the KC stadium on the back of a decent record against the Tigers with Arsenal picking up 4 wins out their last 5 meetings.
