Arsenal Back To Their Best?

Arsenal have in their last three games won with a margin of 3 goals and have seem to hit the type of form that saw them summit the League table for over 20 games. With club manager Arsene Wenger insisting his side have gotten back to their best.

Wenger while speaking to Arsenal player was especially pleased with the performance of his team, further insisting that his team are back on the same confidence level that earlier this year, saw them as major title contenders set to lift the league title.

The gunners for the third successive time cruised to a 3 goal win margin against Alan Pardew’s men at the Emirates stadium; Monday night after having fired past West Ham United and Hull City all with the same goal margin.

But the boss was especially pleased with Monday night’s victory against the Magpies, and is confident his team is back to its best.

“It was a bit of a slow start but we got a grip on the game and became stronger,” he told Arsenal Player. “We controlled the second half well.

“You could see there is a harmony in the team again and our fluency is strong. We look always like we can create and for a while we had problems on that front. Now that people are back and everyone is confident again you can see that we always look like we can score.

“It is about getting over the line and finishing the job [to secure a top-four place] now. We want to do it on Sunday against West Brom, who are a dangerous team as well.

“It would be nice to do it as quickly as possible but let’s focus on taking as many points as we can. We are at 73 points, with six more points possible and 79 would be a decent total and show as well that we have moved forward.

“We are in a cup final and we can make 79 points [which] would be great. All together on the performance of the season, it would look much better.”
