Arsenal take on Hull City at the Wembley stadium in two weeks and it seems the club are planning a major celebration should the gunners triumph the Tigers.
Arsenal have announced plans to hold a victory parade – if the club wins the FA Cup.
The Gunners last paraded a trophy through the streets of Islington after the league and cup double of 2004.
There was no parade following the penalty shoot out win over Manchester United which saw the club win the FA Cup in Cardiff in 2005.
But should Arsene Wenger’s team pick up their first piece of silverware for nine years at the Wembley show-piece next month, a parade will be held.
In a statement, Arsenal said:
“Should the club be successful and win the FA Cup final, a parade with the first-team squad, starting and finishing at Emirates Stadium, going via Islington Town Hall, will take place on Sunday, May 18.”
It will be wonderful to watch our great team once again celebrate a cup victory and i believe that a win against the Tigers would lift the spirit of the team and motivate them to achieve more next term. #COYG!!
