Arsenal take on Hull City in two weeks. And a victory over the Tigers would see the gunners lift their first trophy in 9 years.
In a statement released by the clubs official website, the club plans to showcase a Wembley-like experience at the Emirates stadium to its fans who cannot make it to the real venue of the finals. The clubs official website was quoted as saying…
Arsenal Football Club is pleased to announce that the FA Cup final will be screened exclusively live for Arsenal Members at Emirates Stadium on Saturday, May 17.
The match will be shown on giant screens on the pitch inside Emirates Stadium, with fans able to watch the action from the lower tiers and Club Level. Capacity for the event will be 25,000 – making it the next best place to watch the match outside Wembley.
Chief executive Ivan Gazidis said: “We want this to be a special day for Arsenal fans wherever they are and the screening will be a great way for thousands of our supporters who are unable to get to Wembley to watch the match together at Emirates Stadium.”
