Arsenal vs West Brom: Kallstrom & Sanogo To Start + Ozil, Ramsey, Jenkinson. Giroud & Arteta Dropped.

Arsenal take on 16th placed West Brom at the Emirates stadium in Sundays lunch time kick-off.

The match which is the last home game for the gunners this term will see a very relaxed Arsenal side after 4th place contenders Everton fell to a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Manchester City, sealing the 4th position for the gunners. A loss that registered the gunners – a 17th consecutive entry into the Champions League.

With 180 minutes left of football in Arsenal’s season. You can make a convincing case that the 90 against West Brom at the Emirates stadium in Sundays lunch time kick-off will certainly be one of Arsenal’s most relaxed of the season after finally securing the 4th place when Everton fell to Manchester City on Saturday.

Here is my predicted starting line up for today’s fixture…

Wojciech Szczesny will definitely return in goal for Arsenal today against West Brom .

Carl Jenkinson: Bacary Sagna is out with a swollen knee so it is expected that Jenkinson would deputise at the right back for the gunners today.

Nacho Monreal: With Kieran Gibbs out with an ankle injury, Nacho Monreal will once again deputise in defence for Arsenal today.

Per Mertesacker: The BFG is also another sure bet for today’s tie. With the German currently the most capped Arsenal player this season.

Laurent Koscielny: The Frenchman returned from injury and has taken part in our last matches so far. Koscielny will definitely start –  pairing with Mertesacker at the heart of the defense.

Kim Kallstrom: Mikel Arteta has started at the middle of the park in almost all the important games for the gunners recently but should be rested in today’s game as the gunners have already secured the fourth position following Everton’s defeat yesterday. It is expected that Wenger will once again give his loan star a chance at the middle of the park.

Aaron Ramsey: The Welshman has put up a fine display since his return from injury. It is expected that the prolific midfielder would once again start today for the gunners against West Brom.

Santiago Carzola: Carzola should yet again make another appearance for the gunners today, and he is likely to have a good game with the return of Ozil and Ramsey back into the Arsenal midfield set to raise his game as the trio have in the past worked well together in the middle of the park as well as going forward.

Mesut Ozil: The German returned from injury and featured in our last 2 games putting up a fine display. It is expected that the prolific midfielder would once again start today for the gunners against West Brom.

Lukas Podolski: The German has been in a sensational goal form for Arsenal in the last three games, bagging a brace in 2 of our last 3 encounter. He will surely be handed another start today at the Emirates.

Yaya Sanogo: The Frenchman has somewhat been underused and it is likely that Wenger will hand the new-boy a chance today against the Baggies  following Everton’s defeat yesterday ensuring the gunners fourth place on the table.

It is Expected that with this line up the gunners should comfortably cruise to a 3-1 victory (my guess). going by the team’s current burst of confidence upfront with the return of key player and also coupled with the support from the home fans.
