Arsenal have since the start of the year made it serious business to commit players to the club for the long haul – with a significant amount of first team players having penned down new deals with the club.
The Metro reports that French website Le10Sport are convinced 28-year-old centre back Laurent koscielny has already clinched a new deal at the Emirates and will now stay until 2019.
With French money-bags; Paris Saint-Germain reportedly leading the pack among several other clubs lurking for the sensational 28-year-old’s signature. But that wont be happening anytime soon as Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is keen on retaining his key players this summer.
Wenger who have since the start of the year secured the future of several key players to the club has however failed to pen down a contract himself, although the Frenchman has been busy keeping ahold of his key players, these has lead to the reports that a long term future for the manager is soon to be on the books.
One man he has not been able to convince is Bacary Sagna. The 31-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and reports on Tuesday are suggesting he could join English rivals Chelsea or Manchester City rather than completing a move abroad.
Wenger has secured contracts for the likes of Per Mertesacker, Aaron Ramsey, Santi Cazorla and Tomas Rosicky this season as he prepares for another stab at the Premier League title next season.
