Arsenal take on Hull City this weekend at Wembley in the FA Cup final in a bid to end the long haul of trophy drought at Arsenal.
With the Arsenal fans expecting the long wait for a silverware to end this weekend should the Gunners win their FA Cup final clash against the Tigers. Arsene Wenger has refused to confirm or deny that Lukasz Fabianski and Yaya Sanogo will start in Saturday’s FA Cup final.
As usual the Arsenal boss was cagey when asked whether the pair, who both started in the semi-final against Wigan, would play in the Wembley showpiece this weekend.
Fabianski has started in every round, while Sanogo has played in the last three rounds. Theo Walcott started in the third round against Tottenham where he was injured and Nicklas Bendtner started the Gunners fourth round match with Coventry City.
Asked whether he would start the pair, Wenger told reporters:
“I don’t want to tell you that.”
This is no surprise as Wenger has always been very discrete about his team selections and the FA Cup final wont be the first in the series as to the Frenchman’s long list of hidden selections.
